Eve & Lilith, meet Lucy!
This is an article that I really should have written for my political blog, only because it is such controversial subject. I realize that many of you, have no idea who Lilith is, once she’s not in the Bible. But she is in the myth and folklore. And I don’t think there is any more value to Lilith than the story of Eve. The Eve project took us back to Africa (Mitochrondrial DNA), and deep in the heart of Africa were we found the Lucy scull. Which is all BFD!
My point is that for Christ to hold on, in the age of science and discovery, the Church must give up it’s worthless fight for the Creation Myth! Most people loose their faith right there, today. That’s why it is a pointless battle. You have to give up the best and the brightest, because of a myth? That’s just stupid!
Meanwhile the out of Africa thing, is an conclusion that I’ve never agreed with. It’s not a match to the pragmatism of my brain. You can find some really old bones there, and that doesn’t make the place of origin at all, to my way of thinking. It’s where that creature died for sure, but not exactly where it started. To me the answer to Genesis of the species is in populations. Higher Population = Older Civilization. Even considering in Biblical Portion Catastrophe, which is a part of the history of every generation. To find the Adam or Eve or Lilith, you better look in China!
There are 1 Billion in India, and 5 Billion in China. How can you not head to the Far East, in looking for the origin of people? Examining the DNA of the tall, non-mongoloid beauty found in Mongolia, proved that she was not from the West, but rather just a mutation of the Mongol people. That makes her, extremely important, doesn’t it?
I watch the National Geographic DNA project with considerable interest (Genographic Project), but their belief that it all comes from Africa does still puzzle me? Mind you, I’m not expert, I’m just practical, and I don’t think this migration theory holds water, from a practical stand point, when you consider population size and growth. (China must have something magic in the water?) I see, they still believe in walking across the Bering Straits, which was not the only way to America. My question (or statement) is just why are we so sure that it all starts in Africa, and why do we have to travel our current geography to get to where we are? It tells me, that we are still slaves to the Adam and Eve myth.
